All prescription requests must be in writing. 

The practice will not accept prescription requests over the telephone. 

The practice staff and telephone system are under extreme pressure and priority must be given for urgent medical queries only. 

During the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis the practice will accept requests:

Posted through the surgery letterbox

Online requests (only if previously set up, no applications currently possible)

Via email to: prescriptions.sidleysurgery@nhs.net

 We have received an unprecedented demand for early or extra prescriptions. 

Please do not telephone the practice for routine prescription enquiries.

Please allow the practice extra time to process the prescriptions. 

Sidley Medical Practice has applied to close the list to new registrations and this has been approved today the 28th of September 2022. New registrations take time to process as this includes summarising new records once received and clinicians getting to know the new patients. The requested time period for the closure is 9 months during which time we will be using the freed up capacity training new staff and restructuring to ensure we continue to provide the best care possible for our registered patients.

Patients then need to put their postcode in to be directed to their nearest practice.
