To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday)

  • Phone us Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.00pm (01424 230025).
  • Visit the surgery and speak with one of our care navigators. We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.00pm.

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

To request a routine appointment in the next 7 days

  • Use an online form to request an appointment. We will respond within 2-3 days, usually the same day if the request is received within opening hours. We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.00pm.
  • Phone us Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.00pm (01424 230025).
  • Visit the surgery and speak with a care navigator. We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.00pm.
  • Use your Patient Access account (on the Patient Access website or in the Patient Access app).
  • Use your NHS account (on the NHS website or in the NHS app).

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us we may offer you an appointment:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery
  • on a video call
  • by text or email.

Appointments by phone or video call can be more flexible and often means the clinician can help you sooner. Text messages sometimes include links to book appointments directly without you have to call the surgery.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

  • Use the link in your appointment reminder text.
  • Use your Patient Access account (on the Patient Access website or in the Patient Access app).

If you need help when we are closed

If the situation is an emergency or life threatening, dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.

Your call with be passed to the out of hours service if you call us from:

  • 6:00pm to 8:00am Monday to Thursday
  • 6:00pm Friday to 8:00am Monday

NHS 111 can help if you have an urgent medical problem and you’re not sure what to do.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • If there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer. We cannot guarantee that we can provide a clinician of choice but will always try especially based on gender.
  • If you need an interpreter.
  • If you have any other access or communication needs.
