The practice will not accept prescription requests over the telephone.
The practice staff and telephone system are under extreme pressure and priority must be given for urgent medical queries only.

We have received an unprecedented demand for early or extra prescriptions.
Please do not telephone the practice for routine prescription enquiries.

The object for which The Albert Road and Sidley Surgeries Patient Participation Group (PPG) was established is to work in partnership with Sidley Medical Practice to promote health by fostering the highest possible standard of primary care through the medium of patient participation.
The aim of the PPG is to act as both a route for all registered patients of Albert Road Surgery and Sidley Surgery and “critical friend” to the practice, helping us to understand what patients think about some of the issues that matters most to them and to assist in identifying solutions to problems, and the Practice to implement policies influenced by representative patient views.
The PPG may from time to time conduct patient surveys in conjunction with the Practice to form patient representative opinion on what matters most to patients and then work with the practice to try and make improvements where it is most needed (the surveys shall comprise circa 500 completed forms to characterise the practice demography)] The Patient survey forms will be made available to all patients from the surgery reception areas and the results will be published on this website.
The PPG meet on a quarterly basis. If you’re interested in joining the group or simply wish to raise an issue, then you can contact the PPG via the 'Contact Us' tab at the top of this page or write to the PPG c/o the Practice.
