Appointments
1. Notice to patients - Care Navigation:
When booking an appointment for the Doctor or Nurse, the Partners have requested that reception staff ask what the appointment is for. This is to ensure you are booked with the most appropriate person.
2. Telephone Appointments:
If you would like to speak to a doctor or nurse on the telephone and do not feel that you need an appointment to be seen you can ask for a telephone appointment. These may also be used if you feel you need advice from a doctor urgently but all book on day appointments are gone. Please be reassured that if on talking to you the doctor feels that you need to be seen they will invite you to come in.
3. Routine Pre - Bookable Appointments: - all GP and Advnaced Nurse Practitioner appointments will be arranged by telephone consultation first
These can be booked several weeks in advance and are suitable if you do not need to be seen urgently and want a convenient time for you or if you want to specify a particular doctor.
There are various times allocated to these appointments for the doctors and the nurses in the mornings, afternoons and early evening.
4. Book on the Day Appointments: - all GP and Advnaced Nurse Practitioner appointments will be arranged by telephone consultation first
These are only available on the day you want to be seen and are booked from 8am when the appointment line opens. They are suitable for you if you can come to the surgery when there is an available appointment and you do not mind which doctor you see. There are only a fixed number each day and when they are gone they are gone!
5. Online Appointments: SUSPENDED APRIL / MAY 2020
Online appointments are now available at the surgery, to use this facility you will need to register with the practice. If you have not already registered and would like to do so, please speak to reception.
6. Extended Access Appointments :

Cancelling appointments - If you need to cancel an appointment you can do so either online or by contacting us as soon as you know you need to cancel.
